Our philosophy, based on experience, is that the most important voice regarding the potential parole of an inmate, is the voice of a family member. Why? Because feelings and intimate knowledge of that inmate as a person are distinctly poignant, warm, and personal as opposed to the inter-personal voice and legal words of a paid advocate, whose standard legal jargon has been heard over and again. The individuality of the message gets buried. Many times, the advocate reviews the case on an inmate only minutes before the parole hearing is at hand. Nothing personal about that, just another number, another name, another case, another file and not very convincing on your loved one's behalf.
We on the other hand, work to know the inmate's case personally, and walk with you and he or she, throughout the entire process, until your loved one is released. We take care of the legal documentation and make certain that all the right stuff is placed in the hands of the lead parole voter, at just the right time. This is imperative. Too soon, and it gets lost in a haze of other cases, and of course, too late, and its purpose is lost. We coordinate everything, including the telephone interview, making sure you are on time and where you are supposed to be, so your voice, the one that WILL make the difference in your loved one’s case, can be heard.
